Thornbury Faux Suede Crop Jacket

A soft suede effect jacket cut short and worn loose, with a collar big enough to be the point of it. The nap catches the light the way real suede does, so it reads as an expensive layer rather than a functional one, and because the body is cropped and the shoulders are dropped it sits over a vest, a fine knit or a shirt without adding bulk at the hip. It is an autumn jacket in the proper sense, warm enough for a cool evening and light enough to keep on indoors.

• Brushed faux suede with a soft directional nap that shifts as the light moves across it, matte throughout with no shine.
• Large turn down point collar with long straight points, cut wide so it sits open across the collarbone and frames the neckline.
• Full length two way zip in bright silver, so it can be worn wide open, half closed or fastened to the collar.
• Dropped shoulders and a loose oversized body, with elasticated cuffs and an elasticated hem that gather the shape back in at the wrist and the waist.
• Two plain side seam pockets, unlined and soft throughout, so the jacket packs down rather than holding its own shape in a bag.
